Decimated law firm, Halliwells, was back in the news again this week. Property specialist, CB Richard Ellis was instructed to let the 175,000 sq ft of former Halliwells’ office space in Spinningfields, Manchester. While at the United Kingdom’s distressed Audit Commission, Audit Commissioner, Jenny Watson, was denied a second term just as the body is being run down, the Government ruling that she wasn’t up to the job. The problem for executives like Jenny Watson is that without time management software it’s very difficult to prove you really are value for money; and as Halliwells’ former partners will tell you, if you can find them, time, is, money.
Also this week, news outlets continued with outpourings of new pronouncements on budget cuts. Proving that employees are worth keeping in this new era of austerity is every manager’s nightmare. But with time management software, the job gets much, much easier.
